About Me

Hi! I’m Lindsay, and I am passionate about what I do.

In the spirit of authenticity, I want to introduce myself in a more transparent way than what you might find elsewhere. I can only support your freedom, healing, and empowerment to the extent that I am supporting my own.

I am an Aries, INFP, Enneagram 4w5, C-PTSD Survivor, Yogini, Movement Artist, Lover of Nature, Shadow+Light Worker, Creative Alchemist, Cycle Breaker, Writer, Seeker, and Healer. I am an ally to humans of all colors, sexual orientations, and spiritual belief systems. I specialize in working with women who are ready to heal from the inside out.

As a Somatic Coach, I offer embodied healing sessions that blend somatic techniques, therapeutic yoga, mindfulness, meditation, shadow work and IFS-inspired parts work to foster wholeness, improved nervous system health, and greater interconnectedness with self and others. Unlike traditional therapy, my work is cutting edge, non-hierarchical, flexible, and down to earth.

After being born and raised in Bakersfield, California for the first two decades of life, I left to explore the outer world. My travels eventually took me to Africa and by the time I was 33, living in war-torn South Sudan, I was ready to begin exploring my inner world. It was then that I began my trauma healing journey. When I returned home to the United States, I began the process of recovering from PTSD and C-PTSD.

My higher education consists of an E-RYT 500(Experienced 500 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher), TCYM(Trauma Conscious Yoga Practitioner), Master of Arts in International Development, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I’m also a dedicated student of life who loves to learn.

In the last 6 years, I have worked with thousands of people in a teaching/coaching capacity. I’ve guided trauma-sensitive yoga and meditation for people in a behavioral health outpatient setting, and I have spent 4 years teaching at a yoga studio. I also have experience facilitating therapeutic arts practices, including HealthRHYTHMS Drumming. I have worked with adults, teenagers, senior citizens, people in addiction recovery, military veterans, people with various mental health issues, and people with brain injuries.

I have two years experience undergoing intensive trauma therapy which included Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), and have sought out and learned other methods such as Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Shadow Work, and Parts Work from Internal Family Systems. All of these methods inform my work. Though I am not a licensed therapist, each session will be therapeutic in nature.

Welcome, and I look forward to working with, and healing alongside you!
