The Summer of Self Love is a 6-Week Series to deeper, more sustainable, more lasting self love

You are no stranger to self love. You already know how important it is to love yourself. You’ve likely tried multiple tools and avenues to improve your ability to love yourself. You’ve likely made some progress! Consider this experience an invitation to make self love deeper, more sustainable, and more lasting.

The Summer of Self Love is a 6-week series designed to make self love a habit. During our time together, we will use a fusion of tools including yoga, meditation, chakra theory, inner child play, somatic awareness, loving kindness, and compassionate community to cultivate a self love that is deeper and wider than we’ve ever known.

In our time together you’ll learn how to:

• discover resistance and blocks to self love

• bring sustainability to your self love practices

• create new language and story around self love

This series is for those who want to feel more rooted and confident in their ability to love themselves. Those who are ready to return home to their own body and nervous system and tend to them with gentleness and compassion. Those who have been longing to love even the parts of themselves that have seemed hardest to love.

Befriending the Dark

Befriending the Dark is a Shadow Work series designed to support you in meeting the hidden, rejected parts of yourself – with curiosity and compassion. This isn’t about pushing into pain or fixing yourself. It’s about creating a safe, supported space to explore what’s been suppressed and buried, and learning to meet your inner world with clear, curious, compassionate presence.

What we did in this series:

  • Explored subconscious beliefs and patterns
  • Developed body-based tools for grounding and self-regulation
  • Connected with and better understood the parts of us that carry pain, fear, or protection
  • Released stored tension through slow, intuitive movement and breathwork
  • Began to integrate our shadows and embodied our wholeness
  • Focused on the Golden Shadow, which highlights positive, shining parts of the shadow that have been repressed as well

What is Shadow Work?

Shadow work is the practice of exploring the parts of ourselves that we’ve unconsciously rejected, suppressed, or disowned – often because they were labeled as “bad,” “too much,” or “not enough” early in life. These parts – known as the shadow – can include unprocessed emotions, unmet needs, protective behaviors, limiting beliefs, and aspects of our personality we’ve learned to hide. But while they may be hidden, they continue to influence our thoughts, relationships, and choices from beneath the surface.

Shadow work invites us to gently turn toward these aspects with curiosity instead of judgment, allowing us to:

  • Understand why we react the way we do
  • Heal inner wounds and patterns rooted in past experiences
  • Reclaim the gifts and strengths we’ve buried along with the pain
  • Move toward wholeness, authenticity, and self-compassion.

Rather than something to be feared, the shadow is an opportunity – a gateway to deeper healing and empowerment. When we bring light to the shadow, we don’t “fix” ourselves — we remember ourselves. Shadow work is not about becoming someone new. It’s about remembering and accepting who you truly are.
